A few sketches of potential covers for ‘Jasper’.
Sirens Worlds
Welcome to Sirens Worlds, all things related to comics and graphic novels set in a shared universe.
Jasper, the first comic in the Sirens universe is complete and available from Comixology (link below).
Sirens, the 'core' story in this universe, is finished and may have just found a publisher out of the UK.
Asura Battle
Through the course of working on Sirens, I would take breaks from writing/painting to sketch out ideas. This was a color ‘sketch’ of two Asura fighting over the right to feed on the cowboy’s soul.
Demon sketch
An early design for one of the Demons.
The Minotaur
There was a sequence in the original Sirens story where the Bio-form was going to fight the Minotaur in the maze leading to the Siren’s tomb. This segment was cut to bring the size of the story down.
Mergen
Trying to re-familiarize myself with the insanity that is Zbrush (god how I wished Mudbox didn’t lose that battle), I decided to model one of the inhabitants of the City. I didn’t actually use this model as a reference during the making of Sirens, it would have made things easier if I had.
Sirens is finished!
Nine fully-painted issues, what a journey! But I’m excited that it’s done. Now all I have to do is find a publisher. Just because I can, I’m going to post a few images from the development of that story. This first one was for a sequence that I ended up having to cut.
Unused page for ‘Jasper’
This is one of too many pages that never made it into the final story. I really should have had a better game-plan for such an ambitious book.
Jasper
Jasper is a four-issue fully painted comic that takes place in the Sirens Universe. You can find all four issues on Comixology: https://www.comixology.com/Jasper/comics-series/128074?ref=c2VhcmNoL2luZGV4L2Rlc2t0b3Avc2xpZGVyTGlzdC90b3BSZXN1bHRzU2xpZGVy Jasper is the story of a young woman who finds herself on a terrifying world where she is rescued by an alien killing machine that’s forgotten what it is.
Eleven
Here is a super-short four-page story that was done as an art test. Any and all feedback would be gratefully accepted.
